NOW THAT IT IS GETTING REDY TO SNOW I AM GOING TO STORE MY CAR FOR THE WINTER.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO STORE A GRAND NAT FOR THE WINTER MONTHS?

I WOULD APPRICATE THE REPPLIES ON THIS SBUJECT.

THANKS,

Are you storing it inside or outside. I kept mine inside with a car cover on it, if you are worried about flat spotting the tires put it on jackstands. Disconnect the battery cause the clock ran mine down.

I fill gas to full to eleminate condensation above fuel line in gas tank.Dont forget gas stabilizer.;)

IM STORING THE CAR INSIDE ON JACK STAND'S I WAS WONDERING IF I SHOULD DRAIN THE FLUIDS OUT OF THE MOTOR OR LEAVE THEM IN ? I WILL PUT A CAR COVER ON IT TO KEEP THE DUST OFF OF IT AND THE WINDOWS CRAKED SO NO MOSTIRE BULIDS UP IN SIDE OF THE CAR. THANK YOU FOR THE REPLIES

I store the GN in the garage and start it every sunday and wednesday. This way, no fuel system, ring or valve assembly problems from it sitting for 5 months.

I got a ride home from the airport in a 300,000 mile stock motor and trans lincoln one day. I than became a believer that driving your car was better than storing your car.

The old hot rod gets oil squirted in the cylinders and is put on jack stands till late march. It also gets prelubed once a week just to have oil running through it. Its carbed and will not stay alive or even willing to run in the cold of winter here.
