My trans is empty. No fluid in the trans cooler nor torque convert. I have a deep Art Carr pan on it. How much tranny fluid I'm I going to need to fill it?
What is the fluid capacity of our 2004r trans?

Make SURE and put a qt in teh convertor before install.
white lithium on teh convertor snout and input shaft as well.
Put a around gallon and a half (including the convertor) and top off from there. If using the 700 filter with the art carr pan then to the full mark is fine otherwise to the middle of the back and forth bends so maybe a lil less.
I use type f and thats what Lonnie at extreme auto recommends as well
