I'm curious what is the box with all the orange wires above the fuse box shown in the top of this pic

Power distribution. Looks like one wire is showing heat damage. Note that the ECM/IGN fuse should be a 10 amp'er.

looks like the backside of the bulkhead plug that goes through the firewall...


...and yep, looks like it's time to check for bad connections causing heat and voltage drop.
