What is this worth?

Gentlemen,

Spank here.... got a question... Has anyone heard of Turbomotions? If not, they were a company not around long that made intakes for Hot Air cars to be able to run 86-87 turbos and TB's. I hear these intakes are few and far between and was wondering what one was worth? Oh, by the way, that is what I am running on my car!

$1k seems to be the going price based on here and ebay for NEW/UNUSED ones. Im gonna wait till typhoon finishes his intake and see how it works out.Id really like to keep my 84 as a Hot Air and use the parts ive gathered to up it to 86/87 specs to build a hybrid,ie LC2 Stang

hey spank,

when i put that intake on there i paid 700-750 for the intake and tb only no intercooler. Dont sell it if you want to go fast

did you get it running right yet

84 RX7 w/ 86-87 drivetrain- te 63, big neck intercooler, 42.5 lb inj, th350 w/ trans brake, ladder bar sup, cage and some other goodies.

its almost done, in the works getting my 4000 stall and a 70 turbo for it.

Dont worry kev, the intake is not going anywhere!!!! The car is running great now. It is in the paint shop as we speak! The computer wiring harness, the computer, and the chip were all ruined by a water leak form the windashield. Had to put over $600.00 to get it repaired. All is well thought. Will send pics.

make sure that its not the heater box vent drain under the hood and at the window, if it gets cloged it will leak in the car. did it to me once.

glad to hear its running good, can i have it back now just playing.
