what kind of hp loss

I have a bb buick and the car was running real hard when I bought it. I've had it for about 5 months only test drove it and drove home ran excellent anyway I pulled the plugs yesterday and surprise the driver side all were gapped at 40 and pass side all at 30 not to mention 3 different brand plugs. My question is what kind of hp loss with the miss gapped plugs?

not much, really, and in fact, the wider plugs might be the ones that would not fire as strong if it still has a points distributor in it. but if it was hitting on all 8 cylinders, then the plugs were doing their job, regardless of what they were each gapped at.
