What MAF to use?

Im looking to getting a translator soon and also a 3.5" LS1 MAF and I was wondering what year and car their pulled from. I work at a shop so I can get them at cost but want to make sure its right. Right now Im figuring I can use a 99 Camaro's but any input will help, thanks
