I was told that with the 200-4Rs, that they can all be rebuilt, but that a certain part or parts must be good otherwise, the tranny is junk. The tranny is going to be fully built, when I say built, I dont mean just rebuilt, but in a performance sense. What parts of the tranny are more likely to wear and which arent? What parts need to be good for the tranny to be rebuildable? If any of the parts whether they are hard parts or not, are damaged or worn out, can they be "re-done" or will they have to be replaced? The reason I ask is, you know how you can turn rotars, but they can only be turned so much and so many times before theyre junk. Say a tranny was rebuilt, is there any parts that can be re-done and after 1 or however many times its been done so, it has to be replaced? What would be the most important thing that needs to be just right or has no room to say, "oh its fine, its not that bad, I'll just leave it as it is?" Anyhow, I dont want to drown everyone in questions, but I want to thank everyone in advance for any help.
