just curious what other cars could be donors for our cars- especially the newer motors with aluminum heads. what bolts up, and what needs to be changed?
if there is a decent factory aluminum head that can be found cheaply in the junkyard that goes on with just a header flange change, for example, then that's something to look into, since i do work at a place that laser cuts and welds stainless steel and my boss owns an 87 GN....
this is the kind of things i like to idly speculate about when i'm at work watching the laser beam cut thru steel like it's butter.
