what parts r same from 82 Regal...

I found a good deal on an 82 rolling chassis that I think I am going to pick up. Question I have is, I know the headlights and trim are not the same as my 84, but is the header panel itself the same ?? I think the fenders are right ?? And I am sure the windsheild is .?.? Unfortunately the interior has been pulled, but what else should I think of yanking before getting rid of the rest.

The header pannel itself is just a little different for the newer style grill and headlight trim. The header pannels are interchangable though. Fenders, decklid, windsheild, doors, and most all other extremities except the hood are the same. All chassis, suspension, steering, and brake parts except the rear axle, steering box, sway bars, and springs are the same as well. If the rearend has a posi and/or 3.08 gears and higher, save the differential and gears because you can sell them on eBay or anywhere and make about $200 together at least.

I highly doubt the rearend is a posi unit, but I will check.
