Julio (or anyone else who knows)

I discovered my alky come on at 7 psi and the LED changes red to green at 12 psi of boost.

Isn't the light supposed to change at 10 psi?

Mine starts at 5PSI and changes at approximately 12PSI. Not saying this is correct either. Just how mine works and it works very well that way.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's my motto. But it's burnt me a time or two.

Light changes to green when the pump hits ~50 PSI pressure

You can make the light change quicker turning up the blue gain knob. But if the car doesnt knock as you have set it.. leave it alone.

The important point is to see how the system works. Your paying attention so that is great. The point is you want to see the light change to green at 12 PSI from now on in your particular situation. If there where to be a leak or a degredation in the system, it will change at a higher PSI. Thats when you start to worry or have concern.

So note your position on the Blue gain knob... note the PSI it changes from red to green. That is your benchmark. Changing the position of the blue Gain knob will change when it goes green.

Example you develop a loose hose fitting.. now the light may change to green at 20 PSI.

Make sense?

I like my 4 PSI on, 10 PSI green settings.

I know the TTA came from Julio with those settings and I always change my others to match that. No bogging in the burnout box, during launch, and best of all no knock EVER.

I noticed my green light isn't coming on anymore. I'm running 18 psi currently and the light was coming on at 10 now it doesn't at 18. Gain is at 7 per cal and hasn't been changed. Brand new pump with only 300 or so miles, as is the rest of the combo. Cal wl be here Monday the 18 th so I need all my ducks in a row. Any suggestions as to what I should be looking for? Thanks guys.

Back to the basics.

1, start car and place knob on 8. Push and hold the test button.. light should go red then green with knob on position 8. Engine will want to die when that happens. If you have a twin nozzle, it may not go greeen.

So.. dont put car into boost unless you know its spraying. Use the test button to "test" the system.

Post back, or call the shop on Monday..

Buy Julio's tester kit.
Use it to test the alky system,if it works fine with his tester the problem lies in a bad map or map signal

It is a twin nozzle set up. Ill go start it now and see what I can find. Thanks guys.

All is good as far as the 1st pump. Not making enough boost for the second to come on yet so all is as it should be. Thanks guys.
