What really is Alky??

I am a new member and a new proud owner of a 1986 Buick T-Type. I am definatley looking in on the 7th injection but I don't know where to go to buy it. Can anyone give me some cites so I can learn a little more and buy it. I am trying to see how it works. THANKS FELLAS

The 7th injector and alky are 2 different things. The 7th injector is now considered old tech. It was used to inject more gas when the smaller injectors that were available were not enough. Now we can install up to and probably bigger than 83lb injectors.

Alky injection lowers combustion tempatures allowing you to run more boost. Several people are running around 25lbs of boost on 93 octane gas. Taking that into mind, 25 lbs of boost will give you at least 100 more horsepower than 16 lbs of boost in laymens terms.
