What Rods Are These?

Check out this add on Ebay. These Rods look kinda beefy. Are they anything we typically use? Are they aluminum? I can't tell from the photo and I'm not clear on the description.

The ad header says aluminum. However, w/ zero identification on them, and at an estimated 14:1, It
sounds like they may have been in a drag engine. I don't recall seeing alums used in stock car engines.
IMO, pretty much coffee table décor. $100 shipped?

I figured somebody might recognize them.

I wasn’t interested in buying them. I was just curious as to who made them and what material they are.

Because if those are steel rods, then boy oh boy do they look beefy!
