What should coolant temp be

Just noticed on my TTA today my coolant temp read as high as 214 on the scan master. I haven't noticed my temp to ever get that high. Now it's almost 100 here in FL and I was running the A/C at the time and the temp would climb up then back down a few degrees. Does this seem normal or too high? I have a 160 T-stat and it's also wired to run both fans at all times. Just wondering if it sounds like it could be a headgasket issue or just too damn hot outside.

Mine did that a couple of times when it was really hot and humid outside...I got up to 220!! Similar cooling setup as you.
All in all it's still normal temp though. Check between your condensor and radiator to make sure there's not a ton of junk between them.

Thanks, I drove it this morning and it stayed around 175 with out a/c on. Not use to driving mine in the heat like this so when I seen the temp I was getting nervous
