What size 17's?

Ok, I'm looking for some new wheels to put on over the winter, preferrably 17's, something different because everyone has GTA/GNX mesh and I'd like to stand out. What sizes fit? Thanks!

17x9.5 works perfect in the rear using 4.75" backspacing, 17x8 up front 4" backspace. Or go 17x8 around all corners.

245/45/17 on an 8 inch rim with no problems. Don't now about bigger.

17x8 SLP ZR1 wheels, polished with "dirty" black clear coat, 245/45/17 BFGs, rubbed slightly at full lock for about a week, and then wore down the fender liner = no rub now!

I put 17x8s around 245s front and 255s rear! The wheels are ROH snypers.
