I am going to buy a new set of slicks this week and was thinking of MT et streets 28x12.5x15. Summit list in the catalog a 9.9 tread width my question is will they fit without clearance problems as far as height is concerned?

I have them on Weld draglites, (8" wide, 3 1/2 BS) I rolled the fenders a little with a small adjustable wrench. I also have 2 air bags. They don't rub at all. Are you trying to put them on the stock rims? I don't think that will work. You know ET streets aren't real slicks, you want ET drags.

i'm running a centerline telstar 8" wide 4'' backspace. Do not want to have to roll wheel lip

those definitely will not fit on a Telstar with 4" BS (I have the same wheels) 28X11.5X15 ET Streets fit fine but are not real slicks.....28X9 ET Drags will work best if you are looking for max traction

Probably will go with the 28x9 et drags.I don't know why mickey thompson rates their et streets sizes differently than et drags.I bought a set of barely used (3 passes) 26x10.5x15 et streets the other day thinking they were 10'' in width. Wrong! Try 8.3''.SO why do they say 10.5? I pomptly sold them, thanks for the info.

I just ran the 28x9 MT drags on stock 7" T rims for the first time, no problems rubbing, 14 psi tire pressure. I was using air bags but don't think they would have rubbed anyway.
