hello people; My car needs alot of work and I was looking for other peoples steps in the process. Besides a good tune and a few more upgrades in the engine and suspension areas there good for now. I have rot and need some interior work, mostly the headliner. What steps would you take? BW or interior first?

depending on where the rot is it makes sense to do that first...i had rotted out floor pans...you have to take the carpet out to do it, thats the perfect time to replace the carpet once the floor pans are done, then you can work your way through the interior..just my $.02

hello people; WhiteCobra tell me, that Cotton DP would that be considered a TH type?

Take care the cancer frist..

hello people; I'am no expert on DP or any other area's of the TB but from what I see is the TH DP has a nice smooth transition out of the turbo flowing down to the cat. It seems any DP talk always goes to the TH DP.
thanks anyway

body work first when you do the interior first then you get it all covered with dust from the filler. fix the rust then do the interior it will be better in the long run.

I'd save the $$$ that you would put in the car an buy something nicer. Sorta like moving up the ladder to a nicer car. I had a winter fleet of Buicks back in the day an kept rollin them over an getting better cars rather than doin them over BUT (ya the big BUT) if you are hell bent on keeping the car forever I'd have "Miguel from Pats Auto Care" do it. I am a fussy old fart an after seeing the quality of cars coming outta his shop thats where I would go !!

hello people; IMO as with anything when your name is on the work it has to be up to your standards and as a perfectionist as you are that's how it has to be.
I'll be down sooner or later.

cool;) my doors are open to everyone..

I looked closely at Jimmy Morrison's and Mark Huffman's cars. They were finished beautifully. I'm sure the price you pay would be more than Macco but the care and quality I saw is never cheap.
