What style oil pick up for85 Baffled oil pan?

Hey all.. Wondering if any can help with this
I have a baffled 14 bolt oil pan..I used a pick up from a 87 motor because the one I got for an 85 doesn't fit..when I ask for a 85 pick up for turbo regal
they give me this "u" bend shaped pick up..
the one I got off the 87 motor is kinda short and slightly curved(almost straight out)

unless its a baffle thing??? maybe 85 14 bolt oil pan blocks didn't have a baffle or vice versa?

maybe this u bend pick up would fit no problem in a pan with no baffle

I have two here one with and without, but figured baffled is better.

so now that I have confused, any ideas ??
just going to go back and see if difference in 84 and 85 4.1 and 3.8 maybe will come up with diff part number
P.S. this is from local AutoZone,so maybe there parts system is a little screwy, but figured I'd ask here

baffle

Wrong pickup!!!. They all take the same pickup---14---20 bolt and 3.8--4.1 The slight curved one is correct.

Melling pick up part # ??

Hey thanks Lee, I'll have to go there and return the wrong one and have em pull everything out they got on buick v6


they deal with Melling , maybe someone on here knows the correct part # ??
