what the heck ?

Well was starting to get some where now another problem. I took out the stock intercooler and had the bigger neck installed on it.Now I get on it ,i got this noise during hard acceleration like a flutter.It is heard when turbo spools and speed up on wot.I have the boost at 16 on gauge it goes up then down between shifts then back up.All this after changing a elbow.So is it to lean to rich or something ELSE?

Here is what I have done so far.Checked headers ,vaccum lines found one leak .Clean maf out,,checked fuel pressure,tps,etc.Fixed, worked one day back to fluttering.Maf only see's 207 at wot don't matter if I have 10lbs of boost or 16.I am thinking maf,but I am new to all this turbo gn stuff.

I would check the three intake hoses between the turbo and the throttle body. I'd bet that one is loose or has a hole in it.

another tr owner close to you, you can swap your maf with. to see if the problem goes away? Can you locate, from where, the noise is originating? i.e. the air cleaner, under the car, etc?

If it started with the intercooler mod, and the hoses between the MAF and turbo are not leaking, I'd check the intercooler for a leak.

I will check it again and see..what happens ,it don't make sense worked for a day then back to running like this.
