I bought this in the early 90's from Bowling Green Customs.

I cannot recall if it is a TE 32 or TE 34.

Can any one tell from the pictures? How do I identify the difference?

Thanks Guys.

Dennis

The turbine or exh wheel looks too big to be a TE34. You sure it isnt a TE44?

I dont recall Bowling Green talking about a 44? Maybe I had a Brain Fart?

I remember telling him to send me a upgrade for a stock application.

This would of been about 1993.

I do remember that the turbo was laggy with a 2800 stall.

Humm now you got me thinking......

looks like it could be a 34... although it wans't that much smaller compressor wise than a 44 (56mm vs 58) and the turbine isnt' that much smaller either, or at least too small of a difference to judge from the pic. 34 or 44 is my guess... leaning toward 34 since thats what is stuck in your head ;)

thanks

Well that helped alot!

Ok if I am reading this right the Turbine exducer should be 2.121" on a TE 34 or 32. This is the smaller side of the exhaust impeller as I see it. Correct me if I am wrong?

I measured the Exducer side of the exhaust wheel and it appears to be about 2.25 (2 1/4") on my measuring tape. So this tells me this can not be a 32 or 34.

Must be a TE44 as the chart shows a 44 at 2.228"

Thanks for the help Guys, Archie you took all the guess work out of it. Im going to hold onto that chart!
