What version to buy

I have a stock 1987 GN. Do not race/drag-just drive. What is best diagnostic tool to buy and where?

Scan master is probably going to be the best answer. Lots of vendors sell them, check out fulltrottlespeed.com

Get a ScanMaster and use it for "piece of mind" while monitoring the critical sensors. And if something should fail (that is not covered by warranty ), you can use it to troubleshoot the problem.
