What would you do

My butthead neighbor decided to cut his weed filled yard today. It's a small area, maybe 50'x25'. He never seeds it or takes care of it. At one point the woman across the steet was going over and cutting the weeds. So as I ran an errand this after I see him cutting the weeds (only time this year). Not thinking anything later I decide to go for a little ride with the TB which was parked right along the property line. I find it all covered in dirt and weed guts. That crumb didn't face the discharge away from my car. I washed it off and went to Home Depot. I bought a bottle of heavy duty weed and grass killer and tonight I'm going to give his yard a treatment. I've hated that sob since I moved here 18 years ago. I wish his fat ass would have a heart attack and die.

I like the weed killer idea.. Ditch the empty container somewhere besides your house when you're done.

Depending on where you live you can call Code Enforcement when his grass gets high - they will cut it and charge him for it.

i would get some friends who have a pickup and a old engine, the bigger the better and head for his yard doing about 35 in reverse and slam on the brakes. me and my dad just did a similar thing with some old tires to his old bosses house

If that happened to my GN I'd be doing the same thing, I'd kill everything in the yard so he no longer had to mow....turn that sucker into a dustbowl

I like the engine idea. Why would you want to look at your neighbor's dead ugly yard? At least with an engine block, it'll make a nice planter. Knew those Ferds were good for SUMTHIN!

I'm fairly sure around here if your grass gets too high a simple call to the police will get action of some sort..........an ordinance of sorts resulting in a warning and thereafter fines. Would a privacy fence be in order...........even a short fence? I'm just trying ot be a voice of reason but if U trash his yard/lot..........he can't proove anything then again..........when he wrecks your sh*t in retaliation.......again you can't proove it. Not saying I'd have the restraint to do so..........just a thought

The yard consists of mostly low growing weeds and crabgrass (that invades the whole neighborhood). Near the property line some tall stuff had grown, maybe 2' tall. He's just a lazy tub of goo. In the spring he could just plant some real grass and it would be all grown in by the time the junk weeds start to grow later.

I like both the engine idea and the weed killer idea. One word of warning though. Do you think a guy with no respect for your car would restrain himself from giving your car a new Krylon paint job?

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong! It is apparent that he doesn't care about his lawn. Killing the weeds or dropping a block probably wouldn't phase him; in fact, he might like it. You gotta find his weak spot and attack that! Maybe drop the block in his driveway.

Cut his water off at the street and put a lock on it so he cant turn it on. He's got to go get a pair of bolt cutters now. Or you can get the stuff the DOT uses on powerlines that kills everything for at least 3 yr, might get a little dusty.

I would be careful of retaliation. If you do decide to kill them just buy Triox, total vegetation killer. They sell it at Lowe's or Home Depot. It smells bad but it kills everything in sight.

As for the wife I would breakout your video camera so when the call girl shows up for his massage you can catch all the FIREWORKS!

Something we did to a dirtbag neighbor back in my youth Real bad guy.........I'll leave it at that. You can do alot of things to a car that will ultimately be contributed to vandalism..........sugar in the gas tank, valve lashing compound in the oil, the list goes on and on.......... I got some skunk scent ( deer hunting stuff........real skunk pee) and poured it down the defrost vents. Car will be totally undriveable. That is some seriously potent stuff......... even with all vent\ac\heat off some air moves thru those vents. With all the windows open it will still make your eyes cross. Short of replacing all ductwork under the dash dunno how you would ever get rid of it. They thought an animal crawled under the dash and died........... He did try to sell the car but ended up sending it to the junkyard. I'm not suggesting you do this, but thinking about it might give you some satisfaction

Why don't you tell him what he did in a nice way? Maybe explain that you just washed the car etc. Some people are totally clueless when it comes to respecting others stuff. If he's sorry let it go but if he's a jackass, well you know what you need to do.
