what year does this airbox fit?

I was just informed that this is an airbox for a hot air car. It came in a box of parts when I bought my 86 GN. Anyone know which years this fits?

its not 86-87, the intercooled had a slip-on plastic duct that slide over the short flange right off the airbox ,
the base is the same and the lid is similar without the snorkel
the plastic elbow looks similar on the 87 but its 3" at both ends , that one looks smaller at the lid

Thanks for the reply. I just took the snorkel part off and it is indeed 3" at the lid. Any chance this is an 86-87 airbox with a snorkel from an 84-85? Other than the snorkel, what is the difference between the 84-85 airbox and the 86-87 airbox?
The snorkel is 3" at the airbox connection and just under 3.5" at the other end.

if that metal snorkel removed by sliding off ..then they are same,
that box was used on some FWD cars as well with the 3.8 3.0 motor

Hot air The stock airbox for the 86-87 GN is a stubby metal outlet coming out of the upper portion. MUCH shorter than what you have there. Im looking at 5 stock airboxes for 86-87 right now and they do not look like that.

This is for a listing on ebay, btw. I'm just trying to get the correct info on this thing...and am updating the info as I learn more about it. Thanks for the help guys.
