If a car has a good breathing combo, how much horsepower is a pound of boost worth?
For example: see my signature.

Reading of the different dyno tests over the years seems to indicate that 12 HP per pound is about right.

7% power increase per psi, but im a junior member what can i possibly know.

I believe 1 psi=8-12hp approx., when I estimate power gain, I use 8hp per pound of boost just to be conservative.

i dont know

on a rear wheel dyno run increasiing from 21 to 23 psi i made 36 more hp to the rear wheels the dyno weather station was at 5300 ft during this run

SO many variables. My experience says 15-18 hp per 1Lb boost with a 12.00 and faster car. 8-12 is for a more stock setup.

A car with a big IC, cam and better flowing heads will definitely make better power per pound.
