bumper reinforcement bar worth ? The GN has steel ones & T-Types had aluminum ones. What are they worth $$ ? Does anybody know the diff in weight ? Also how much # is saved if cut the whole middle section off ? Thanks.

I just swapped out the rear support on my GN on Sunday. The steel support weighs 33.5 pounds and the aluminum support weighs 14 pounds. Front savings is probably comparable.

Great info Greg !! :biggrin: Do you know of anyone that has cutoff the whole middle section & weighted it ? I think an aditional 20 lbs (Including Frt. & R ) could be trashed ! I think JayC & gnxtc2 have done it. It'd be nice if they could chime in.
