Hi, I am asking this for someone else since I do not know myself. In a 90 Mustang with over 100K miles, would a good way to add power be to upgrade to a 347 stroker, or supercharge the 302. I do not know the condition of the motor. Car is street driven only. I did a little searching and the 347s are popular. I know this isnt the right forum but I figured I might get some good leads. Thanks.

Why not do both? My brother had a notchback with a supercharged 347......that thing was scary fast!

Depends on money and goal. You can get a new 8-10# powerdyne for around $1800, a 347 could make as much or more power but will need heads, intake, cam, etc. plus the shortblock-$3500+++. If it were me I would do the supercharger-depending on mods get anywhere from 280-340 rwhp, and be happy, then when I got the money build the motor!

a twin turbo 408.......... in my opinion a supercharge 305,witht he right tune, can be lots of fun. many years ago,i had a supercharged 302 with stock bottom end, trickflow heads,x-cam,gt-40 intake and a vortech v1 s-trim blower, that sucker ran 11.20 compared to my buddies n/a 347 which he was in the low12,high 11 with good traction..that tells you
