car

Iwould offer him 3000 needs alot of work. aslo depends on what you want it for?

I agree, it needs a lot of work. It really depends on your financial situation too. If you can afford more, wait for another one to come along. That one is pretty rough, regardless of the engine work done. It may run good, but the body/interior will make you possibly regret your decision. JMO, good luck!

Going to be a street driven car, no track. Ofcourse the main idea is for cherry GN in a few years.

who knows what deamons lurk in that car, take it to a mechanic,or look at the gnttype website for info on lookin at buying a car i agree with 3k

this was in the "for sale " section a while back

no one seemed interested in it enough to purchase.

look it over very carefully and expect to pay double what you figure.

good luck

I second that.

Someone that owned it didn't know ANYTHING about caring for a car(or just didn't care). As stated: you don't know what other demons might be lurking in it!! If you can get it cheap, and don't mind a MAJOR project(not to mention dealing with t-tops  ) go for it. Then again- who knows how well the engine was rebuilt? Keep in mind: IF you care find a decent GN interior - it's gonna cost you over a grand by itself. If you have to buy it in pieces- much more! I know- I just parted one out on eBay.

Went through this with my gn 2 years ago, sounds
like the same condition. Replaced pass rear floor and
body mount, t-top channels, rear qtr panels. Did a lot
of the work myself and it still cost 5k by the time
it had new paint. I already owned it for a long time
so it was worth it to me>

Wally, if you had to put a price on your labor how much more could you add?

Hey I am in tampa too and thought about getting that car..... until i saw the pics of it

Yes it needs some serious work. I also have seen both the cars you are looking at. Driven 1, rode in the other. Good luck with your choice.
