Guys please help me here im getting my car ready for paint and need a good brand for weather stripping.

GM is the best. Gotta pay stupid money tho. Others dont come close. Others seperate and dont lay right

There's a thread here about some New G-bodyparts weather strip. Supposed to fit like factory.

I bought all mine from g body parts, t tops included, they all fit very nice, im happy with the results

http://www.gbodyparts.com/product_info.php?products_id=1409&osCsid=e51dcb271b35c5af4cb9d1575fa58a0a$99 And if you aren't happy with the way they fit you can get a refund. Can't beat that.

No. I have metrosoft and I've regretted ever since. I am going to try these

Used METRO on mine. If you have patience, they will "break in" in and soften up...mine took a few months. Initially, your doors will fit very tight and windows will be difficult to roll up. I had to adjust my windows 2 or 3 times, but they finally fit pretty good, but I wouldn't say great.

I have these on my 87 monte carlo they suck on my car i probably got a bad set though. I think im going with the ones on the g-body forum. Thanks for the help though.

Yeah I say nay on the Softseal. Ive had them on my car for 3 years and they are terrible.Cant roll the window all the way up without it getting tight. I want to change them for next year too.

Which ones are you planning on putting on yours?

Was going to go with the GM but if I hear good things about gbody's weatherstripping ill go with it. Fitment is important!!
