All in the tune. I have Bosch White Top 160 lb injectors (not known for the best in terms of driveability) with a classic FAST B2B. Car runs real nice for street cruising, don't notice anything out of the norm.

gonna go e85 mostly street driven car and want to know what people are having good results with as far as size of injectors hi z. so my ecm dont have to be moodded. want the car to have good street manners thanks in advance.

I was looking to do the exact same and 80's was the answer I got from turbo89 and the guys over at full throttle so that's what I went with. 80# siemens and a turbo tweak chip,

Or, run the 80's at LS fuel psi, [58-60], and have a bit better atomization, and a 94# flow rate.........

You know Chuck I was told one time that if you are running e85 it likes the higher base pressure, like are 55#'s or so. Any truth to that?

I would like to know. I'm at 45psi right now and upped it from 41psi when I was at the track and got a little bit of knock. Once I upped it to 45psi it went away. I didn't have a power logger at the time to know what was going on but that'll change soon.

All on E85:
I run 120's (low Z) and have excellent drive-ability. Throttle response is perfect. Bobby Smith runs the 96's (low Z) and they are also perfect. Wife's car has 80's (Hi Z) and it drives like stock.

All of these are set up with ~45psi base.

All you need .. you will like them ... I've yet to see that setup not impress .. enjoy

I ran across a 340 for cheap, you think that will hold up ?

Nope.. I am not a fan of the Walblo pumps ... DW300 gets my vote .. don't even know how many I've installed .. only had 1 come back and it was a no fault return.. got a brand new pump no questions asked ... its also the biggest pump you can put in and leave the stock lines.. great setup

My old set up was about maxing out my 79's. E-85, Racetronix DP w/ 340 Aeromotives -8 feed, -6 return, Volt booster, Hotwired, all stock engine w/ a TE60...low 90's in my IDC. It was an easy decision to jump to 120's. I'm sure you could get low 11's, maybe high 10's but they will be maxed out. If you want E-85 you have to be able to supply the fuel, if not use the same and go to alky injection then you should be more than good.

Enough for ??? Yes, it will run and drive but what are you looking for out of the car, mid 11's mid 10's?? big difference in those. I had my stuff, so I played with it to see how far it would go. With my new set up coming and I KNEW I was going to be passed the IDC so I stepped up to 120's.

so with the 80s will the a dw pump be enough or will i have to put in the dp.

80's and a single DW300 will take you further than the other mods you have will allow ... and reasonably speaking if what you have in your sig is what you are starting with this will be more than enough to keep you happy... at the point that you run the 80's out and the pump .. you will have ALOT of other MORE SIGNIFICANT issues to address...

Sorry I don't buy any reason to run a bigger injector than 80's .. they will get you in the 10's no issues ... guys are using DC where they should be using the pump to supply the fuel ..
That setup can handle a stock motor and have WAY plenty left ... Don't over injector the car when you DONT have a need for it .. its a complete waste
