Whats the difference between a Regular T-type, and a WE4?

I need help, i was driving around in town and i spotted a Turbo Regal,.. wasnt sure if it was but when i got up close i saw 3.8 SFI t-rb- some of the badging fell off. on the front end there is no badging it just has a black 87 grillie and says buick on the top. but no chrome. the car has a digital cluster or something im not sure but. it says T-type in red with the Turbo 6 emblem beneath it. interior has 2 buckets and bench rear,.. can anyone help me out? btw it IS a hard top

I'm sure it was a Turbo T package car or WE4 as some call it.

The WE4 is an all black exterior, all gray interior car.

Is that what you saw?

If you saw the word "type" as in "T-type" then it was not an 87. In 87 there was only a "T" in a square.
