whats this about? does this mean my password has been stolen and someone is logging on as me? one of my friends says hes also getting the message.... any ideas?

never happened to me but i am thinking your correct. do you leave your named logged on at school or work. change your password and you should be fine.

usually what happens is you left your name on another computer and when somebody gets on it automatically logs on as you, and then they sign off to get on their own name, but in the mean time its kicked you off. i have a couple of names so if somebody gets on mine i can get on my other name and talk to them lol.

I read it was a new feature with AIM. You could probably read more from the site. It will send messages to each location or the location that isn't away. I don't use AIM so I don't know exactly what they do. To me, Trillian is the only way to go. It seems like a neat feature though.

I just noticed the same thing today.
No one else uses my name, and I only have this computer at home that I log on with.
Weird.
Only think I can think of, in my case I signed on, then got booted off the ISP, and signed in again. Maybe it thought I was still signed in?

It could also be if you are signed on AOL on your cell phone like me all the time (your friends would see a phone icon next to screenname)
