everthing in my signature is about 8months or less old. fresh oil, spark plugs and o2 sensor. yesterday i had the turbo and a fuel pump installed. so i took it out on a test run and when i get on the car it starts to break up around 15 pounds of boost, kinda like if it needed more fuel..but the scanmaster readings on the o2 were all in the 780 to 800 with 0 to 2.0 kr im running 100octan with alky so i think fuel is not a problem..any advice at what i should be looking for when something like this happens..and the turbo was kinda of a disapointment at 15 psi maybe it needs more boost but till i get this figured out i wont touch the boost contol..thanks

i'm no guru, but if i was a betting man...
get an ohm meter, check the coil towers
front to back, 11k to 13k on the top towers.

or just go to oreily's, spend $100
and get a spare with the lifetime warranty.

i'm assuming your plugs and wires are new, and working properly.
someone correct me if i'm wrong.

plugs are new.. and the wires look to be fairly new ive only had the car for a year now..whats oreilys? is that like an autozone or checkers

yeah, oreily's is like advance or autozone, but they offer a lifetime warranty on most electronic parts also. i got my last coil from them- theirs also had better terminals on the bottom.

A couple items:
Buy the gennie DELCO coils and module.
What are the plugs gapped at? .035 may be too wide for the coil pak/boost.

What brand are they? Not platinums, are they?
I use AC R43TS in my engines.. Gapped at a tight .032.
At really hi boost, over 25, I went to .028...

i have the same plugs that you do..ill regap them to .30 or .28 cause ill be running 25psi

Tony, I have a spare coil pack we can try. What exactly is the symptom? cutting out, popping, or ??

I wouldnt call it popping.. its more like a skippin sound through the exhaust flow. so i let off the gas as soon as i hear it

ok guys i bought a coil pack from autozone and some plugs gaped at a tigth .30 and problem solved..i also think i know why it was acting up one of the prongs were really dirty while the other five were shinny. it had some kinda gonk. but here the thing it seems that when you fix something, something else starts acting up..now im having problems with the vacuum lines they all keep blowing off after 18 to 20 psi of boost do you guys zipp tight all of them? or am i having a nother issue..i wanna thank everyone that helped me figure out my coil pack problem.thanks, tony

i'm just using the smallest little black zipties i found, i've heard some people talk about using hairspray(i think for intercooler hoses)- but i haven't had to try that yet.
