Just wondering if mine is normal? I see 13.5 @ normal driving, but @ WOT it drops to as low as 11.9.

I just checked a DirectScan file at wide open and it reported 13.1
at idle it is 13.7

13.8 volts @ idle and 13.4 @ wot. 11.9 does seem low, could be an alternater on its way out.

Mine runs at 13.8 at idle and normal driving. At WOT voltage drops as RPMs increase. At 4800 RPMs it reads 12.0. I thought my alternator was bad so I installed a brand new one, not a rebuilt one that is rated 5 amps more than the factory one I removed. The new alternator did not change a thing. My voltage readings are from Direct Scan.

My reading are coming from an EZ Link Auto X-ray scan tool. If I remember right, my voltage had always been 13 or better in the past @ WOT. I just don't normaly check Batt. voltage. The last time I checked it was probably a few months ago.
I don't believe it would be a belt slipping, as I just had it replaced a week ago with a new GM one...but then again?
Is a voltage booster worth it? Any downsides, because I've heard to much voltage was a bad thing.

if you take a look at fuel pump flow at 13v vs 15v, you will see the benefit of a volt booster....it is dramatic what the extra voltage does

I wouldn't race without one

Did you check the index mark on the tensioner? A new belt can slip if the tensioner is doing its job properly.

If your readings are correct, what else could it be?

Volt Booster

Question, whats a Volt Booster? Can it be used on a non turbo/non computerized car???
