What's your Buick worth to you? Describe your car, mileage, condition, modifications or stock, how many owners and what it would be worth on the market today, and 20 years from now. Im sure this has been done before, but I thought it may be a neat thing to do and read.

Mine is an 1987 GN, now two owner, 134,000 miles clean inside and out, three small dings, needs fillers and paint on the fillers, it's stock with different exhaust, always has been garage kept and the previous owner kept all documentation to include original sticker, dealer tags, haggle sheet, every receipt from day one and the owners manual is filled out to a T. I have kept up with the documents myself. I would probably venture my car would be worth $12,500 and in twenty years who knows? Please chime in on your car!

hmmm...20 years ??? Ill be dead so who cares  !! beat the hell out of the car's and enjoy it:p ... 20 years from now will be just the car collectors

Mine is not worth much ...Salvage title...

I could probably part it out and make twice as much as I paid for it.

BTW that was only $2500

Mine's a salvage title because it was abandoned. I paid $850 for it but Iv'e put a few bucks into it since Iv'e owned it, (new paint job, interior from a parts car, a rebuilt engine, trans, and listed mods.) The way I see it it's prolly worth half of what I put into it but I don't plan on selling it anyhow.

Mine is worth around $7k, had lots of body issues. Solid now but not a professional restoration. Needs painted AGAIN (thanks to the ***hole that I ended up sueing). Got close to $10k total in it (purchased for $6k). Stock except injectors and alky. About 3k miles on a standard freshened motor. Wifes is worth about $12k,straight,shiney,fast.Mucho go fast parts on it. Put in a timing chain set and new bearings (because I was already there). Probably put them in deep sleep soon, I got the urge for something different. Very rarely do you get out what you put in them.

I'd sell my house before I sold my GN :) I could be buried in it so I could drive it forever :) So it would take much more than any sane person would be willing to pay because I've put ALOT of blood sweat and tears into it and to replace it would almost be impossible...sure I could go buy another but I would not put all that work in to another one just for some extra $$, and if I bought one already built it wouldn't be the same because I didn't do the work!

I second that emotion. (motown...you dont know nuttin about that) :)

Im with him.

What did I do to get sophie? I spent 3.5 months training hard as hell, to lose 12 months of my life, and one of my friends, in south baghdad to get it.
When i derosed back to the world with a new lease on life, my main priority from day one, was to find my buick. Bid ten five on it on ebay, with 69,000 miles on her. Mint, 100% complete interior, unopened motor, and the only mods at the time, was a chip, 2400 stall, chrome steel maf pipe, 9" K&N cone, valve cover breathers, complete hooker 2.5" dual exhaust with no cats, throttle body bypass, bosch afpr, shift kit, and 160 t-stat. I believe the guy I bought it from, was the third owner, but im not totally sure. The cars in great condition to be honest.
It had no rust anywhere on her, and only 3 little dings on it, that were barely noticeable at all. Ill have em knocked out this summer, if im still in the U.S.
The car just turned 72 grand on the clock now, so you see I dont drive it much at all. Months would go by without me driving it. It's my most cherished posession, and i would NEVER sell it. From what I heard, the guy that was selling it, had a 69 nova, and this car, and was married with a kid. Wife got pregnant, and they were going to move to a bigger house for their new family member, so one of the toys had to go. He chose this rather than his nova. Lucky for me.
I think it was WELL worth the money i paid for it, and its honestly worth about 11 grand. (from what i see around here) When I'm done making this car immaculate, in 20 years shell be worth 50 grand no problem. Ill have it bone stock, and with every piece of documentation that it came with from the factory too.

smoky the og kush bear said, my gn is worth more then the whole wide world!

Seriously, it really does mean the world to me. Orginal family owned sence 86!

I

would sell my car.......that I bought 6 months ago.......for twice what I paid for it.....maybe. I have a 87 limited, stripped to bare metal, painted pearl with a blue flip (not drastic....think cadillac). Everything rebuilt, engine, trans/shift kit/stall, eaton posi rear. $12,000+ in receipts. I posted it for sale a while back but the longer I own/drive it (it's my daily driver and my only car) the more I think that I'll just keep it.....and make it really, really, fu**in fast :) I'm always ran with the v8 crowd.....I think a lil more turbo/alchy/front mount are in order. Not that i race...you know....just to have ;)
