alkycontrol kit, what # are you on? I'm between 6 & 7 on 22 psi. Does this sound right? I can def tell you rear tires are going to be replaced a lot more often.

I'm assuming the regular single nozzle kit. I usually only need around a setting of 5 or so for low 20s psi on a stockish engine. Thats with 23/21 timing or even 25/21 timing.

For a street car its easy to find the right amount while doing some short WOT runs on a highway. Lower the alky little by little and watch for knock. If you see any knock then add a little alky back in for safety. Don't worry about O2s, use the fuel to adjust that.

When I'm upping boost, I add a little more alky in to be safe and then turn in back down if everything looks good.

Much harder to adjust on my white T, where I can't make a WOT pass on the street to help dial it in. I keep it turned up pretty high, more than I probably need.

yeah, single nozzle kit. If I have to turn it up all the way, I guess I'll have to turn up the initial a little, right?

With your setup you dont need to adjust the initial. Julio has it dialed in so that you should be able to adjust the gain knob only. I have mine on #7.

Dual nozzle and its cranked all the way up at 14volts with a 3.5 bar MAP

If you get knock with it all the way up, you have a fuel system issue. I bet your not delivering enough fuel to support your motor.

Better get that gauge on the windshield and confirm 1 psi fuel per 1 psi boost. So if line off its at 43 lbs, WOT at 22 PSi is 65 PSI fuel and it better hold 65 PSI fuel. If it doesnt, then you have stuff to check. After that, look into bumping up the fuel on the chip.

Leave the Internal PAC settings alone until all else has been tried.

thanks guys

It is almost at 7 so it's not up all the way. I was thinking about adding a little fuel with the chip but figured I'd wait until I visit the track to really start messing with it to see mph differences. I'm going this Wednesday 7/29 to Cecil Co. Dragway in MD if any tuning experts are going to be around. It won't be hard to find me since there aren't many this color (dark cherry). I just wanted to make sure everyone else with a similar set up has their gain close to mine. Sounds like I have it right. I can get my buddy's fuel gauge to hook up to verify psi @ 22 if I need it. Can't wait to run my new best time & find some unsuspecting victims. Everyone knows about the black gn from the new F & F movie, but not the regal with chrome bumpers.
