Does anyone know what length of studs I need to run at the track? I know they mandate that you run extra long ones. I am running the ET 28 streets and have 7/16 lug nuts but need to change the studs. One other question. What is a good pressure to run in the airbags with these tires? I have them at 30 lbs right now.

longer studs are not required unless you are using wheels that have a thicker center (like Welds, etc)...the stud has to protrude at least as far out as its diameter ...7/16" stud, must protrude 7/16"

NHRA only requires that the length of the stud that protrudes past the wheel is an amount equal to the diameter of the stud. Hope that makes sense. GM Parts Direct has 3" studs for cheap, overkill but they are 12mm and are sorta hard to find open lugs for; they are nice and you'll never be questioned by a tech official.

You can purchase 2" long lug studs at your local parts store for about a buck apiece. They are specifically for a Regal or other G bodies and use stock lugnuts.

 30 lbs!

Try 5 left and 15 right. The correct answer is that you need the air pressure that allow the rear end to launch with the bumper as level as possible.

The reason I put them at 30 was to raise the car so the wheels would not rub. The are 28' tall ET streets on Center Line rims.
