My Mom works for a divorce Attorney and I hear these same sad stories all the time

With 2 kids because you adopted one you need to batten the hatches down and get ALL your ducks in a row before you pull the plug. Only at that time would I sit her down after you have seen a Attorney and moved some CASH around. This way when you finally sit with her, you are ready for the worst case. Women get very EVIL and I mean EVIL once they know you are done.

You do not need the cops there because she looses it and claims you hit her or verbally abused her in front of the kids.

Most Men that know it is over, prepare for a year or so before they pull the plug. With kids you need to plan. Normally the person who files first has the upper hand. I would go for FULL custody and settle for in between. Try and not argue or yell or create a bad environment as the kids will just suffer more. This sucks man, but if it is over you need to cover your a.s.s. BIG TIME.

I have a friend who makes 90k with 2 kids. He pays $400.00 per week So come to the understanding it just SUCKS all the way around. However hearing the way things are, it will pass and you will find happiness. Good Luck Bro, keep us posted.

Neal, addiction is more than drugs and alcohol. She sounds like a shopaholic. From what you have posted, I would run as fast as possible. You are loosing yourself trying to maintain a situation that will not change. If you are this sad about things now, it will only compound and get worse in the future. Good luck man, it sucks to be in that position. You will adjust to someone else in the future. Old habits die hard. Just make sure if you look at someone else in the future, pay attention to all the red flags you overlooked in this ones case.

Im i think you answered your own question , but id take some of the financial advice given here if you follow thru . Woman can be real sweet sometimes but when there pissed ................ That or id weld her into a 55 gallon drum and dump her about 50miles out off the shelf . Put some holes in it too . Weld her in alive if your a sadistic type . But Being you may be inland that might not work either . Well like my buddy always said "Woman if we couldnt Fu$k them we'd hunt them " I hope it works out for you , maybe you need to take a trip out to Vegas or something to clear your head and get out from her grasp . These are the stories that scare me from getting married myself . Like i always say theres a fine line between love and hate .
