Correct. It has to be opened by PL , not windows.

Yes, save the file to your desktop. Open up Power Logger program. Grab your file, grab and drop it into the Power Logger program.

You need a 3 BAR MAP sensor to accurately read vac/Boost.

i just put a 3bar in do i have to reset the ecm at the battery unplug it .then plug it back in .its a delphi dont know if that makes a diffrence .gonna try to post a log .thanks for helping and your time .

Change your settings in Power Logger from 2 Bar to 3 Bar.

on the graph page what 4 reading should i have there for some reason when i record and save the only recording that is saved is the graph page the guages and the data page dont save i know they should save so i can go back and fourth to cross refrence but they dont just wondering if anyone else had this happen to them or know what to do to fix it thanks.

Sounds like nothing is hooked up to your analog block.

so you can see them thanks .yea have not hooked up the lc1 yet. thats where it would go to analog1 on the connection block.do you see that my spark is at27-29 at idle and the o2 on zero on my sm and and my got even guage is not even lit till i give it throttle and o2s go up and the guage lights up . but i am getting fuel pressure i have a hood mount.new filter.have 60s and tt chip stock maf . maybe thats giving me a problem i am getting ready to but the gen2 in with the 31/2 maf .

Yes, I see the timing. that'a about normal for idle. the reason you're seeing the wrong boost/vacuum information on the scanmaster/powerlogger is because you don't have your map sensor hooked up to the analog block I'm assuming. Your maf readings appear to be normal for idle and the throttle blips you give it.
Can't explain why your O2 is reading zero at idle like that. Bad O2 sensor I would guess.

i hooked up the map the way the vortex site suggested.but no ground should i ground it cause he said after speaking to bob bailey does not suggest using the PL ground .but then said to ground it to the engine block .so was not sure what to do .so should i ground it to the block

okaaaaaayyyy i just went back and looked at the instructions again and i know why i am not getting the right boost readings i used the wrong end of the grey and blk wire .was going to fast .will update when i doit right this time gotta slowdown and double check .great instructions from vortex .wanna thanks the fellas on this forum for there time thanks .
