Alrighty then. So I bought those outer T top strips. Big difference in how they look / feel over the others I had. These are soft in the middle and harder on the edges. The Metros (or whatever the hell I have) are the opposite. Also, these have a much better contour that matches the angle of the other pieces. Unfortunately I'm still screwed because the rest of the seals are so flat and non-uniform that they are now the new issue. I know for a fact that my OEM stuff was much thicker. The good news is that I will be buying a NOS passenger side inner seal soon and will work with that. I'll update with the info once I get it in, but I'm pretty confident that I will have at least one side of my car sealed up well. If all goes well I will hunt down a drivers side that won't cost me an arm and a leg.

Yea, I couldnt believe how bad mine fit, but finally huffed puffed and stuffed to get a half decent seal. I still wont intentionally drive into heavy rain, but I dont have any serious leaks. Does okay if I hand wash it and in lite rain.

Update. So Scott hooked me up with a passenger side seal. Holy crap, what a difference! I dry fitted the OEM stuff real quick. My window and T top is not even close to being aligned yet, but it already seals up with no gaps. The OEM stuff is a different material. It is larger in diameter, but the material is thinner, which makes it more pliable and more hollow inside. The aftermarket stuff I have is the same material that is used on cars with framed windows. Our floppy frameless windows just don't have the leverage to push against the newer stuff. I will get the passenger alignment done soon and will be hunting down a drivers side seal. I will make sure to keep treating my weatherstripping with protectant to keep it good.
