Use a paperclip! I read this on GNTTYPE somewhere. I think(not positive.....so make sure) the paperclip goes into the top leftmost and top rightmost openings on the ALDL connector. One of these should be ground. So, all you are doing is grounding the other wire to lock up the converter. Let me know if you want me to find out exactly.
