Nick,

Are these "GNXish" enough for you? They're Boyds' Tuned rims; mine have the centers powdercoated grey but they will do black or other colors also.

You're alive, Ryan! How's the family? You should stop into #buickgn sometime and talk.

Glad you like the car..I'm still pushing it but it's starting to look like a car instead of a heap of parts. :)

Kendall,

What are the specs on the wheels and how much where they...I like how they look.

Thanks,
Joe

The wheels are Boyds Tuned, sizes 17x11" and 9.5", with 5.5" and 4.5" backspacing, respectively. They were just over $1300 from www.sportruck.com, with a surcharge for the rear width and for the powdercoating on the centers. There may still be a group purchase going on Boyds wheels through these guys; check www.pro-touring.com for info.

Before I forget, note that the wheels would not fit in these sizes on a stock car. I have the frame notched and a mini-tub done in the back, and I don't have front inner fenders.

Kendall,

Thanks for the info but I was hoping it would fit on a stock car...dont want to do to many modifications. THanks

You can fit 17x9.5 and 8" in there just fine; they would actually be a bit cheaper as I had to pay extra for the wide rears. Take a look at www.efi-street for pictures of Clay Marlow's car with these wheels in those sizes. He got the centers polished, but plans to get them powdercoated black, I believe.

Not cheap! about $3500 package deal shipped to my door w/tires. You can have 17's for cheaper.

Enkei used to offer a GNx replica wheel in 17" and 18" diameters. I think I have an old Car Craft with a 9/10-sec GNx (not a fake) that used these wheels.
