as the thread says, im looking for a new r/c dual fan kit w/ harness where can i go? Sence ramchargers isn't listed as a brand im having trouble finding it on the fullthrottle.com site. Where can i go to get one, and how much are they?

quick question. Im wondering if the R/C dual fans will run when the car is shut off like my stock fan did?

FYI,
One of my dual fans is seizing up, the bearing is going south. This is on my driver after about 1 1/2 years. Funny my old original fan works just great. Maybe that's Y these fans are priced so cheap!

No they won't unless you purchase the Racetronix Dual Fan harness-awesome piece ,gives fans full voltage, seperate relays for each, retains low/high & after shut off, & prevents melt-down

I don't know if the Ramchargers fan is the same one available elsewhere now. I bought the Ramchargers fan last year with the adapter they sold. The adapter, IMO, is the reason everyone is wiring them differently. It was wired to run both fans on high regardless of which relay closed. This method caused the wires to get hot. I rewired the adapter to run the fans on high and low just like the factory fan using the factory harness, and therefore the factory relays and delay. The only significant addition I made was to add a direct ground because the single ground wire would get warm when the fans were on high. IMO, if the adapter originally came wired the way I made mine, then there would never have been a need for all these fancy harnesses.

perfect thanks for the info. Looks like ima get the fan with a racetronix adapter. Great replies.

Mike w/ RamChargers is the one that advised of the new contact for the fans. The fans, etc are the same, according to him.

So, Im going to run a racetronixs adapter does this mean I need the fan for $84 w/o harness or the fan for $144 w/harness, ontop of the racetroxics adapter?

I would think that you don't need the adaptor if you will be going with the RaceTronix setup.

ok thanks, i just want to make sure. Id rather ask a stupid question then stupidly swip a credit card.

Correct.

The only thing to consider is if you do or do not have a Racetronix battery ground upgrade kit installed. One version comes with it and one does not. People with our HW harness would already have one installed.

RIght now my 84 GN has the crappy clutch driven fan. I want to put that ramchargers setup, or which now is your setup, in my car. I have the 86, 87 ecm, so do i need to just get the wiring kit found here?--->https://www.casperselectronics.com/...oduct_Code=102066&Category_Code=8485GrandNatl
Is that the wiring harness I need to make these fans work, and will it plug into that plug on the fan setup?

Also one more thing, how hard is it to mount these fans?
