Is there anyplace other then the dealer to get Radiator Hoses? Ive been to all the local part stores and they have nothing. TIA

Here is some info that I compiled from the board:

The lower radiator hose fits other V-6 applications and is available aftermarket.

Upper hose is '86-7 specific only.
Upper radiator hose p/n: 25525229 upper hose - 11.71 GM parts direct. GM list $23.41

Try John Pearcy at http://www.johnsperformance.com

Not only does John know and love these cars, he's great to deal with. Also, the lower hose comes with the spring already in it - you won't have to fish it out of the old one!

Lower Radiator Hose 0236

Nothing is better then original equipment parts.:o Go to www.gmpartsdirect.com and order the parts from them the P/N is 25523616 about 17 bucks for the lower hose. Like Turbo Brian said the upper hose is P/N is 25525229. That’s the way I go.

I don’t know if Goodyear still makes those blue radiator hoses for our cars anymore or not, but they were nice.
:D

Silicon hi-perf hoses

Has anyone looked at and tried the new silicon hoses offered by Postons? It's the ENTIRE hose set for our cars. Looks like a good investment.

I have the blue silicone hose set on my T. Pricey but they look nice. :) They came from Poston's.

I don't like the fact that the lower radiator hose has no spring in it, but I've had no problems in two years now. As mentioned above, you could always put the spring out of the original hose in there for precautionary reasons.

Thanks guys...both options are cheaper then the dealer. 60 some bucks just seemed alittle much for me. Anyways does the GMDirect lower hose come with the spring? TIA

I can live with the OE hoses for $35 :D. $300  that is a bit expensive for me.
