It would be cool to see some of you guys in mich and surrounding areas come to the NO ET events at milan...they have them once a month and its pretty much street racing at the track..They dont show ur time, time slips get cut in half ,1/4 mile racing,people are allowed to gather behind the cars in the lanes,bet $$ in the lanes(there was a race for $10,000,
5000 2500 and several for less than $1000 last weekend ) The big rivalry has been chicago vs detroit..rules are lax you can run fast without a roll bar,pay them to let you run once the lanes are supposed to be closed, start the race off the tree or off a hand flag, we were there till 2:30 am last weekend,Everything from 13 sec FWD grand prixs to 7 sec 10.5 cars show up there were 2 gns last time and they needed some back up bad!!! Its a good time in a safe enviornment...Just need more buicks!!!!! Heres the race for $2500 my buddy lost in the mustang it has a big block chrysler motor in it... With the weather cooling down, there will be a GN showing up to race there again. Hopefully he works on the tree a little bit and can beat the Supra though... :biggrin:
