Hey All,

For an 11 second GN, is there a transmission filter of preference? I’m helping a buddy and going to do some spring cleaning with him and I don’t remember if there is one filter that is better than others? I’ve heard people using the 700 filter as well as the newer Impala ones that suck from the bottom vs. the top like the 200R ones does. Does it really matter if you run an extra quart of fluid? Launches are in the mid 1.5’s. Want a fairly durable filter as we’re only going to do this once a year, transmission might get 1000-2000 miles a year and 50-75 trips down the track.

Thanks in advance!

Any filter for the 2004r stock is ok like Chris said. The links I posted is we have proven to be the best. Along with a pan the Wheelstanding Cars in Florida have cured many a pressure variance under g force utilizing this set up. Ask around. See how they were proven to make a difference. Small price to pay to insure quality oil delivery at all times, both in supply, tempature and displacement.
