Hey guys, I've been having problems with my transmission ever since I got my new engine in. The tranny guy has had it a few times and can not figure out what is wrong. I've already paid him for the parts and labor. Anyway he is suppose to get it done yesterday ( like the last 2 weeks) so basically it looks like I'll end up having to drop 1500-2k for a new 200R-4. The question is who makes the best 200R-4 for the money. I'm going to estimate high and say I make 400hp when I'm probably only at 300hp maybe. I want something that I can drive on the street everyday. I don't care if I have to shift it manually, That's cool with me. I just want something that is not going to continue to break on me, I've been about a month without a working transmission and I'm getting very upset. If anyone can lead me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks to anyone who can help.

the builder phoned us and is using his own methods of calibration.based on the information he gave me there is a serious crossleak or misassembled / damaged valve body.your best bet is to get it from someone who specializes in 2004rs on this forum.

Chris,

Thanks for getting back to us so soon. Your customer service is great. After exhausting all of our options at a local trans shop we have decided to get one of your Stage II trans. I recently left you a message on your company email which should describe our requirements in detail. I look forward to telling everyone on the forum how we did...

Charlie
