It wouldn't surprise me. We Americans sell out every day to the lowest bidder or "best bang for the buck". There is no pride, no shame, nothing but gimme what I need now as cheap as I can get it and it better last forever with no extra out of my pocket. Pretty soon the cash machines will say choose Spanish or Japanese.

I don't dislike spanish people but GIMMIE A BRAKE If they know how to use our money or drive on the streets here than ENGLISH should be the only selection.

We have noone to blame but ourselves. Go to Japan or Spain, or Mexico and see if the signs are in English to help the foreigners "feel" at home. Pretty sure they're not there. We keep bending over backwards for others and for some reason must love it.

That is because I see too much spanish on TV, ATMS, mail, etc etc.

You notice that Chrysler isn't mentioned because they make nothing but POS vehicles aside from the Cummins diesel and the Viper.

The US automakers in the past 10 years have been on shaky ground. Making a resurgence with the SUV trend and big trucks.... but ultimately gaining more debt and with the recent GM 25,000 person layoff slated by the end of 2008 that makes the scene even gloomier.

This will be an interesting story to follow.

cummins diesels are the worst trucks ever! I've driven a couple before and on every one if you chop the throttle they die, and normally I don't care if a car is a little on the loud side but those things sound terrible.

the import craze started when vin diesel decided to start living his life one quarter mile at a time.
