I have gotten a lot of info on which ones are the best for the money but not sure about the size? 8MM OR 10MM? I don't race my car but do drive it when I can and would like to know which I should get? And which fit the stock wire looms? Any help would be great thanks guys.

From past experience, the larger 10mm makes wires no better, just thicker insulation. I use 8mm Kirban wires which fit perfect in the wire looms. They are the right color and length. Give Dennis a call, I think he still sells them. If you want low resistance wires, try the MSD 8.5 mm, they work great on my Vette. I custom cut them to my own specs and they have worked great for years now. Of course, this is my own opinion/experience, you'll find that others on the board here have a different perspective than mine. You have to make you decision based on all of the opinions together. I just stated what works very well with my cars.

call me shallow. but if we're comparing similar performing wires. go with the 10s they look great. imo

What you're looking for in a quality plug wire is OHM resistance per foot. The lower, the better. I don't care if they are 20mm thick, if they have 100 OHMs per foot VS a 7mm wire with 50 OHMs per foot, the 7mm wire is better.

I have MSD 8.5's, 30 OHM/ft on my car & no complaints here.

They are red, but I think they look good. If your going for a stock look, then get gray.

the cat man is correct. with plug wires you want to have the lowest resistance.

The resistor style spark plugs that most of us run have about 5 K OHMs (yes that is 5000) so if you add an extra 5k which is what most of the 10mm wires i have tested are that is quite a bit.

We have been using low OHMs wires and nonresistor plugs here for a few years and we rarely have to change plugs or wires anymore.

hope this helps
