I know that stock tires for a GN/T-Type are 215/65 15s.

Would going to a 225/60 15 look better? I think it would look wider with a lower profile.

Any thoughts or pictures showing these tire sizes?

I always thought 235/60/15 front and 255/60/15 rear looks best on a 15x7 wheel on a turbo Buick 255/60/15 being a M/T DR ( no thats not my car)My car never gets wet

Then how do you wash it? :p

235/60/15 will have the same overall diameter as a 215/65/15, and should fit a 7" wide wheel nicely. If you want bigger out back, go with a 255/60 like he said.

See personally, I'm of the mind that if the car doesn't get a little dirty once in a while, I'm not having enough fun with it.

;)

Thats easy. Big in the back, little in the front.

i just put General Tire 275/60R15s in the back and 235/60R15s in the front. The backs fit nicely as do the fronts, however the fronts do rub a little if i turn the wheel all the way pulling into a parking space or something...

Here's mine with 235/60's in the front and 275/60's on the rear. No rubbing issues.

215s front, 255s back in sig.

KTrain, where did you find 275 60 15 Generals? Looked on the TireRack and Discount Tire site. I'd like some, too.

Gpadilla 1071- what backspacing do you have on the rear rims? they look good.

They actually discontinued the particular tire I got, and i'm not sure if they have any other styles in that size. I literally called at least 10 places nearby only to find 1 Family Tire that had 1 last pair in their warehouse. I even typed the tire model+size into google and it didnt even come up with responses, so you KNOW that they're limited availability... :frown:
