I am going to a stand-alone transmission cooler and was wondering which cooler I should use.

I have been using the Hayden 24,000# cooler on my GN but it is ran through the radiator and the Hayden cooler.

The radiator in my T does not have the trans. cooler in the radiator. This is why I am going to a stand-alone set up.

Thanks Bruce,

I have a new Hayden cooler larger that the one on my GN. It has the AN fitings but it is not a plate/stack type like yours. The rating on my Hayden cooler is 28,000#. Do you think it will work? I got stuck with this cooler after a customer decided not to have it installed on is truck.

I thought I could use it some day but wanted to see if it would be enough cooling for the stand-alone set up.

Thanks,
CT

If using it as a stand alone only use a stack plate design cooler, whether it is from me or not.

Cool, that is what I need to know. I have a B&M plate stack cooler on my truck. It's not as big as the one you have listed. It is a 16,000# unit. I have it ran with the radiator.

Thanks,
CT
