Whick shiftkit?

Well...

I looking for someone who has used/use the transgo street shift kit.

Is it a good kit or does it just destroy the tranny as Bruce at PTS says ?

Im sorry that I dont live in Us... its much more expensive to ship everything to Sweden all the time

The shift kit works fine as long as it does not involve drilling holes in the vb.

Hey I'd bet Bruce would ship you a whole PTS 200 4R for one of those beautiful blonde Swede women that are always in view whenever a US TV special shows Sweden. Is it really like that?

Use Bruce's shift kit, easier to install and more experience behind the technology. Search the board, lots of comments about the Transgo kits, not much of it good.

Well...there is many pretty girls here, but I think the people in other countries overreact it (or how I should say ) Maybe im just used to have nice girls to look at, haha...

I share your frustration about ordering parts Swede! I live in Finland and getting parts for these turbo cars here is also a pain in the a**! Anyway, regarding shift kits I just ordered a kit from Bruce with a bunch of other stuff. I've tried a B&M kit before, it was quite good but it was for a tranny behind a 305 so the abuse the tranny has to get was quite a lot less than what it 's getting behind a GN. I'll let you know how the kit works if you want after I get it and find the time to install it. What I've read about Bruces kit on the posts I was quite convinced though.

PS. Do you have any parts stores in Sweden that carries parts for GN's or TTA's?

PPS. Our companys head quarters are in Sweden and I have to agree everyone about the girls! No BS on TV about them!

Thanks FinGN... Fun to know that anyone else execpt me and Uffe do have 3.8 buicks in Scandinavia.

I shall get my tranny rebuilt next week, without the Trango kit have I decided.

I think I got to get Bruces kit. A oil cooler isnt bad either...
